In June, following the meeting of Royal Colonial Institute Lodge No.3556, the Brethren reconvened in the temple to watch members of the Lodge of Asaph perform a 30-minute masonic morality play entitled “The Fight”. Set at the end of a Festive Board of the Lodge of Falmouth (Massachusetts) just prior to the War of Independence and a year after the Boston Tea Party, this was a polished production including period costume, lighting and props. Both W Bros Stratton Richey and Tim MacAndrews were volunteered to dress up and take part – which they did admirably (in the case of Tim MacAndrews, it was an Oscar-worthy performance!).
